Abstract

Fluid Art originated from Abstract Art and Occasional Painting. The most common primary material is Acrylic. The method is to pour Acrylic on a painting board or object, and then tilt and rotate it to let the acrylic flow and mix with each other to create a colorful art work. The thesis is based on my professional background in Printing and Large Format Printing. I used a variety of techniques to creat Fluid Art works that are colorful and patterned. I also researched the flow of Acrylic on the boards for Print and Large Format Printing. Finally, I organized the Fluid Art Solo Exhibition and analyzed the audience's visiting experience. My thesis consists of five chapters, the first chapter is the Introduction, the second chapter is the Literature Review, the third chapter is the Creation Discourse, the fourth chapter is the Fluid Art Creation Solo Exhibition, and the fifth chapter is the Conclusion. The conclusions of the thesis are: 1. Mixing various techniques can create colorful and patterned works. 2. Acrylic has better fluidity on the boards for Print and Large Format Printing. 3. Acrylic has higher color saturation and better visual effect on the boards for Print and Large Format Printing. 4. When using the transparent board, we must pay attention to the light blocking effect of Acrylic.
