dc.description.abstract	This is a discussion of the criteria issue for the Thesaurus Managementsoftware, touching upon the important role of a thesaurus in the context of Information Retrieval (IR), the design features of the newly available ASISThesaurus, and the background of the increasing attention paid to the criteria for the thesaurus management software.
