Abstract
日間照顧中心為第一線接觸社區長者的單位,如何設計出能滿足被照顧者需求的課程是一項值得探究的重要主題,有鑑於國內針對日間照顧中心的被照顧者所設計的課程無統一的規範,本研究之主要目的為透過半結構式訪談,歸納日間照顧中心之課程規劃內容。本研究於2022年6月至7月間,訪談6位於日間照顧中心、機構式護理之家及長期照顧機構之實務工作者。主要研究結果如下: 首先,日間照顧中心的課程類型規劃主要是以認知及生活功能訓練為主;其次,日間照顧中心課程規劃需考量安全性、被照顧者之身心狀態、節慶文化、生活型態以及被照顧者的需求;最後,日間照顧中心的課程須由專業師資進行授課及由專業師資來培訓中心人員,且未來可朝向建構「專業人員設計課程、照顧服務員執行課程」之模式。綜上所述,本研究之發現將有助於未來日間照顧中心規劃相關課程之參考。
Day care center is a key unit for community-dwelling older adults. Therefore, it is important to design curriculums that meet the demand of the older adult population. Given that there is no for unified curriculum planning for day care center in Taiwan, the main purpose was to summarize the curriculum planning of day care center using semi-structured interview. Six practitioners from day care centers, long-term care institutions and nursing house were interviewed during June – July 2022. The main results showed that the type of curriculum planning in a day care center should include cognitive training and activities of daily living. Moreover, curriculum planning in a day care center should consider the safety, physical and mental status, cultural festival, lifestyle and need of participants. Finally, the curriculums should be conducted by professionals in a day care center. In the future, it is suggested that the curriculums can be designed by professionals and taught by the nursing assistants in a day care center. To sum up, the findings from this study is informative for designing future curriculums in a day care center.
