Abstract
傳統的民俗節慶活動,以及由現代社會創生之類節慶活動,在當代台灣已有融匯成為新型態的節慶活動之趨勢,而由於觀光發展的推波助瀾,節慶活動展演的形式也急速地在改變中,因此,吾人亟須勾勒出當代台灣節慶活動之形貌,並提出適合於本土研究之詮釋觀點,以利往後對台灣節慶活動的深入研究。
本論文是以「地方傳統」與「觀光展演」二者之辯證性為理論鋪陳的基礎,並以「真實性」做為論述節慶活動之核心概念。由三個層面論述參與觀察之節慶活動,俾勾勒出當代台灣節慶活動之形貌:一、節慶活動的社會及文化環境基礎。二、節慶活動的本質與展演。三、參與節慶活動的體驗。
經由對當代台灣節慶活動的現象之省思,適度整合及修正國內外相關之理論,由五個層面提擬休閒社會學的詮釋觀點,俾利本土節慶活動之後續研究:一、節慶活動的真實性之變遷類型。二、節慶活動樣態的類型。三、節慶活動體驗的類型。四、社會過程與人生過程的週期性之交替。五、節慶活動之本質與展演。
In contemporary Taiwan, the traditional folk festival activities and the modern society created “quasi festival” activities have merged into a new festival activities mainstream trend. Besides, due to the development of tourism, the performances styles of festival activities are also changing rapidly. Nowadays it is urgent for researchers to depict the figuration of festival activities, and to propose leisure sociological interpretative perspectives for future in-depth festival studies. In the dissertation, the theories are based on the dialectic relationship of “local tradition” and “tourism performance”, and use the philosophical concept “authenticity” as the core of discourses. The festival activities figuration is discussed in three dimensions: 1.the social and cultural environments of festival activities. 2.the characteristics and performances of festival activities.3.the experiences of attending festival activities. Through the reflection of the festival activities phenomena in contemporary Taiwan, the dissertation proposes following leisure sociological interpretative perspectives: 1.the changing “authenticity” pattern of festival activities. 2.the pattern of festival activities styles. 3.the pattern of the experiences of attending festival activities.4.the cycling of social process and life process.5.the characteristics and performances of festival activities.
