Abstract

  雖然臺灣電影產業逐漸復興,近年來的電影研究卻極少由電影音樂之角度切入;有關現今分工精細的電影配樂敘事之類別及功能問題,許多研究仍未觸及。因此本研究將對臺灣電影研究領域中此一較少被提出的主題加以論證,並歸納某些初探性命題。   如今的臺灣電影音樂分工越來越精細,葉月瑜(1999)便依其特徵分為背景音樂(background music)和劇內音樂(source music);同時她指出電影音樂之發展會與各個年代之商業、政治、藝術互動,進而有不同的展現。因此本研究旨在了解過去臺灣電影音樂發展過程中是如何與商業、政治、藝術之互動,並探討電影音樂之類型、特色及實際展現。   本研究以俄國電影導演艾森斯坦(Sergei M. Eisenstein)之垂直蒙太奇(vertical montage)理論做為研究架構,並採用艾森斯坦發明之音畫圖為分析工具,針對2007年至2012年間四部臺灣電影個案之劇內音樂作文本分析,並輔以半結構式訪談法。藉由對故事結構、音樂使用時機、樂曲結構、分鏡等的解構,探討電影音樂與影像的協調、對位,闡釋臺灣電影劇內音樂所扮演的角色及敘事功能。   研究發現,現今臺灣電影劇內音樂之敘事功能已經成熟,劇內音樂可做為劇情敘事的主體,不再只是輔助畫面的工具。而在電影高度商業化下,劇內音樂已成為電影商品的一部份,並且與歌手、電影行銷間都有密切關係。
Although film industry in Taiwan is gradual revival, recent studies have rarely investigated films in the point of film music and many studies have not been touched the division of fine soundtrack narrative categories and the function of film music. Therefore, this study will research the topic which was rarely be discussed in field of Taiwanese films and summarize some of the preliminary proposition. Today, the division of Taiwanese film music has been more and more sophisticated.So, Yeh (1999) divided film music into background music and source music according to their characteristics. In addition, she pointed out that the development of film music will interact with commercial, politics, and arts. Therefore, this study trends to understand how Taiwanese film music interacted with commercial, politics, and arts, exploring the types of film music, features and performances. This study will use the Russian film director S. M. Eisenstein's vertical montage theory as a research framework, and the music-scene figure as research capabilities, analyzing source music from five Taiwanese films for 2007 to 2012. By deconstructing story structure, timing of using music, song structure, and still, this study can explain the music narrative functions and the role of source music within Taiwanese films. This study found that the function of source music has matured. Source music can be used as the main narrative of the story, the no longer being an auxiliary tool. And because of highly commercialized, source music has become a part of movie merchandise. And the singers, cinema marketing are closely related with source music.
