混合研究為一新興領域,已被應用在社會科學及醫學等方面,近年來也開始受到教育研究者的重視。 有鑑於此,本文旨在:一、介紹混合研究之定義、發展歷史及功能;二、敘述研究派典的轉移及紛爭,並介紹以實 用主義為混合研究哲學派典的起源與論點(本體論、知識論和方法論等);三、介紹混合研究之研究設計;四、提出教 育領域需要混合研究的理由,並舉例說明混合研究在教育研究的應用;五、提出混合研究之現有限制與未來發展方向。
